In a program held at Himalayan Motorland at Dhulikhel this past Saturday, NASA has announced the National Karting Team for the next 4 years. A kart training session was also held among the new team in the same program. Present in the program were 40 people including, Mr. Anil Baral, co-ordinator of NASA Karting, Mr. Aashis Lamichhane from Nepal Motorsports Club, Mr. Santosh Neupane, NASA's IDP and event co-ordinator and Mr. Binod Tandukar, President of Two Wheelers Event.[gallery size="full" ids="14690,14691,14693,14689,14692"]Right after the training races of 3 laps each were also conducted where Subarna Singh Bista came first, Ram Bikram Thapa came second and Manchan Tiwari came third in the men's race. On the female's race, Aakriti Belbase came first, Nitu Shrestha came second and Sushma Nepal came third. The people selected in the national team are given below:
